Firmware Update v52.0.007 for Nokia 5800 Available - Music Player Update

Nokia released a new firmware V52.0.007 for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. The firmware is available to download via OTA. You can also update this firmware by going into the Applications --> SW update. It is shown there as "Phone software".

The size of firmware is 4873 kB. Since firmwares are very important to your phone you should always update to new firmware available. This firmware will improve phone's performance and bring new features such as better touch screen experience, Enhanced rotation, etc. Though the official changelog is not available but there are number of small UI changes that you will notice after updating to this version.

There is another update available via SW update. It is "Music Player Update v15.2 (1034)". The update size is 687 KB. Always wanted to know the lyrics of that special song? This new feature displays the embedded lyrics of the song playing on your device. Download the update and then click on Options menu of Now Playing view to enable this feature when lyrics are available.

Nokia E52 Firmware Updated to v052.003

Nokia 5800 Xpress Music v52 and Nokia C6 v20 Firmware Update (Changelog)

 

This week there were a lot of software upgrades news that we’ve covered and today another firmware update for C6 and 5800 are available. The two phones runs on Symbian S60 5th edition operating system and both features resistive touch screen. Whilst the C6 has the four-row QWERTY compare to the music predator, 5800 XM.

For the Nokia C6 the new software version brings big changes and lots of new additions. Refer to the lists of changelog below:

Nokia E72 Firmware Updated to v52.005

The Nokia E72 got a small firmware update today. The new Nokia E72 firmware version v52.005 can be downloaded from NSU. Note that it may take some time before the new update it available in your country. Changelog after the break.

The enterprise section should be efficient and productive, and that’s why Nokia is rolling a firmware upgrade for Nokia E52 to make users connected and always ready-to-go. The compact business phone will get v051.018 from v034.001 / v033.02 by either NSU or through OTA (over-the-air). Although E52 supports User Data Preservation, it is still better to back-up any content before upgrading to v51.

Sadly, Nokia E52-1 from UK which is also RM-469 does't get any updates yet. The same on europe.nokia.com software update checker which display v033.02 as the current firmware version available. Anyways, it’s good that you will know that the updates are rolling out.

Firmware Update: Sony Ericsson Vivaz firmware R2ea023 has been released - Changelogs inside

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz just recieved a new firmware update. You can download the R2ea023 firmware via the SEUS app (check out the instructions below). Note that it may take some time for the new firmware version to be released in your country (depending on your phones product code). Changelog after the break.

How to update:

1. go to SEUS download page
2. download the file
3. install it on your computer
4. restart your machines (both computer and phone) –>for fon remove your battery and reinsert it. DO NOT turn it on..
5. plz make sure u have a good internet connection 1st before u proceed with the next step.
6. run SEUS on your computer and follow SEUS instructions and requirements.

Nokia C6 Firmware Updated to 11.0.029 with Changelogs

If you have the Nokia C6, check the software updater on the device or your computer because some people have seen the v11 update already. This is not a major update, but it provides better stability and fixes some bugs with the email client. Read on for the changelog.

The rollout is probably not complete because my Nokia C6 do not see any updates yet. Now we can also expect this firmware upgrade for Nokia 5800 / 5530 by PNHT as C6's earlier firmware was successfully ported to Nokia 5800 and Nokia 5530. Nokia 5800 Firmware Updated to v51.0.06

Hi Friends  Nokia 5800 firmware update is out from Nokia. It is called V51.0.006.
It looks like the minor update with changelogs like

• Performance Improvements

This update is available in NSU and FOTA. Please check your phone’s firmware and report us whether it is available in your country. Do letus know if you find anyother changelogs too.

Nokia 5530 Firmware Version Updated to v31.0.005

Nokia updated it new major firmware for Nokia 5530 XpressMusic. The new updated firmware is v31.0.005.

And the new firmware should be available via NSU or OTA.

Here the changes in new Firmware for Nokia 5530 are listed:

• fixed: issues with chinese characters
• menu improved
• fixed: Dictionary application can’t be activated by voice command

Nokia C6 Firmware has been updated to V10.0.021

This year is really a good one for Nokia Symbian Smart Phone Lovers. Because lots of firmware updates was released by nokians.. The Latest firmware for C6 V10.0.021 was released via Nokia Software Updater for most of the product codes.
Unfortunately it is not available via FOTA update.

There was no change logs reported. But the firmware update always comes with some changes. To improve the performance.. Lets download the new firmware for 3.2inch touch screen C6 with full slide out keyboard and enjoy the new performance.
