One of the goals of Symbian's contact management is the ability to
editg the label associated to a field in a contact.
However, neither the backup application from the phone or
"Nokia PC Suite" software stores the values of the labels,
so you retrieve a backup means losing the changes.
The same applies to the groups to which a contact belongs,
ringing sound, photography, etc ...
With "BackEXT Contacts", you can copy the contacts information
stored in the phone and then restore that information in the
same or another phone easily.
The information stored in "Contacts BackEXT" includes the following:
* Groups
* Contacts
- Value of all contact fields,
- Value of the labels (which have been updated by the user),
- Ringing tone,
- Contact thumbnails,
- Speed dial numbers,
- ...
Additionally, "Contacts BackEXT" provides a via to automate the creation of
backups.
* Note that the "Contacts BackEXT" exports only the contacts/groups stored in phone memory (but don't the contacts stored at SIM card).
