As many would know by now, Polaroid has discontinued almost all of its instant analog hardware products and cease manufacturing of instant film products in 2008. Would this nostalgic icon never be encountered again?
Not entirely! With Tea Vui Huang's Say Polaroid!, you can now capture the much adored square-framed 'Polaroid' photos directly from your modern-day Nokia camera phone (no Photoshop needed!). Say Polaroid! will automatically crop and composite the photo ANDrender it according to the choosen film type. The latter includes the 600, SX-70 Time-Zero and SX-70 Blend.
The mini Polaroid photos will be saved to the "Images" folder of the microSD card using the default Nokia image file naming format. You can then send it out by MMS or transfer it to your PC. Say Polaroid! is designed for Nokia phones minimally supporting CLDC 1.0, MIDP 2.0, JSR 135 (Mobile Media) and JSR 75.
