Compatibility: All S60 3rd Edition smart and 5th edition
Beta version of Python runtime v1.9.5!
Update language interpreter based on computer Python 2.5.4, which gives more opportunities for programmers.
What's new in comparison withPyS60 1.4.5:
- Based on Python 2.5.4 kernel;
- Packing package sis is now much easier!now an official tool for packaging, and therefore it was written a graphical interface;
- Now would not be much difference between running the application from ScriptShell and the usual way;
- UID of the Python and PythonScriptShell changed;
- The scripts are no longer on the path C: / Python, and C: / Data / Python;
Also, positive changes in the packed in SIS applications:
- If a python is not installed, a user attempts to run the application, he receives a message that you need to install a python;
- If you start off with, the user will see all the mistakes, not simply as a departure application before;
- Now that the applications will be its own text console, as Script therefore became possible to use the command print;
- At 9.3 have gained access to the GPS, without signing an application!
About lacks 1.9.h:
- Interpritator runs a little longer, but this will be remedied in future versions;
- SIS file weighs much more, but the final version is scheduled to make a package weighing less than 1 MB;
- Now requires OpenC library;
- Axles veterans will not see 1.9.h because they have no support OpenC;
- So far no plugins Cpp developers.;
- Binary compatibility between different versions of the branch 1.9 is not guaranteed.
Installation:
1) Download the archive of the main and install.
2) Download from attachment and PythonScriptShell and install.
Install in any location (memory / card) for the smart.
1.4.5 software in most cases is not compatible with this version.
